Trilogy at Glen Ivy is one of Southern California's most highly rated 55+ communities. Built about 25 years ago in the Temescal Valley area of Corona, it sits near the foothills of the Santa Ana Mountains and the Cleveland National Forest, right across from the Glen Ivy Golf Club.
With just over 1,300 single-story homes and more than 85 clubs and groups, Trilogy has the lush, established feel and close-knit neighborhood that a lot of newer communities are still trying to build. Over the past few years I've helped dozens of people buy and sell here, and residents consistently tell me how much they love living in Trilogy.
Below, I'll walk you through the amenities, the homes, what it really costs, and the honest pros and cons.

Lifestyle
One of the best things about Trilogy is the sense of community. Neighbors here really do become friends, and people take the time to check in on each other, especially residents who live alone. It has the kind of small-town feel you just don't see much in Southern California anymore.
Because Trilogy has been around a while, it has already worked through the growing pains many newer communities are facing now.
Amenities
Every Trilogy homeowner has access to the community's resort-style amenities, including:
Golf right across the street: the 18-hole Glen Ivy Golf Club sits directly across from the clubhouse. It's a public course with its own café, and Trilogy residents get perks like discounts and priority tee times.
The HOA also covers front yard landscaping for every home, which is a big reason the community looks as good as it does.
Homes & Prices
Trilogy has just over 1,300 homes and 11 floor plans, ranging from about 1,300 to more than 2,200 square feet with 2 or 3 bedrooms. All of the single-family homes are single-story.
Trilogy also has some unique condos. From the outside they look like large two-story homes, but each building holds two separate units, and the upstairs unit has its own private elevator.
Since the homes are 20+ years old, some may need updating. The ones that have been remodeled look amazing, and many buyers would rather customize a home and save money.
3rd Quarter 2026:
The top sale was 9328 Holly Lane, a 2-bed, 2.5-bath Chaparral model with 2,253 square feet and a 3-car garage, which sold for $825,000. Prices are holding steady, and homes are selling faster than last quarter.

What It Costs
Trilogy offers real cost advantages over newer 55+ communities:
Example: on a $700,000 home, property taxes in Trilogy are about $7,700 a year, compared with about $11,900 at a 1.7% rate. That's roughly $350 a month back in your pocket.
